I ended up getting sued, and though I was able to fight the case in court, I still had to pay my attorney in Lemon Grove his fees. I was short on the cash at the time simply because of how difficult it is to get by in California these days. I was unable to get approved for a loan in town, and was also denied loans at credit unions in Spring Valley, La Mesa, and Darnall too because none of these places had loans for people with bad credit.
